Daily Faith Declaration

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
— Proverbs 18:21 KJV

During my journey of following Jesus, I have discovered that there is great power in declaring the Word of God. Each time that I read aloud his promises, it brings great joy and peace to my life. When I declare his promises, I sense the Holy Spirit come upon me in a powerful way and the devil begins to tremble. The devil’s greatest fear is that we would come to recognize our identity in Christ. Through Jesus’ finished work on the cross, we have been saved, healed, delivered, and made whole. Declaring God’s promises of faith over our lives, empowers us to live out his truth and walk in victory over the devil. When we know who we are in Jesus Christ, we will begin to reign in life (Romans 5:17). Below is a Daily Faith Declaration for you to use as a guide in speaking the promises of God. Declare this passage aloud as often as you’d like. The below declaration has been compiled from multiple authors/resources, including: The Holy Bible, Rex Crain, Steve Backlund & Tracy Rice, John Osteen, and Joel Osteen.

A Daily Declaration

Thank you Jesus for the opportunity of life today. I thank you that because I am your child, all of my needs will be met. Today I choose to walk by faith and not by sight. I declare that I will not be overcome by evil, but I will overcome evil with good. Today I will fear no evil, for you do not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Today I will set my mind on the things of God; therefore I will enjoy a mind that is full of life and peace. Today I am strong and full of energy. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I chose to love the Lord with all my heart, soul, and mind. I choose to enjoy my life, my work, and the people in my life. Today I will increase in the knowledge of God and I will be strengthened will all might according to his glorious power. Today I will walk in honor, integrity, and I will esteem others better than myself. I have the mind of Christ and think as Jesus thinks. Because faith comes by hearing, I daily speak God’s promises. I am being transformed by the renewing of my mind. I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. My mind is set on things above and not on the things of earth. I have the wisdom of God today for whatever I face. I am a doer of the word and not just a hearer. I am convinced of God’s great love for me. I am not afraid to disappoint others if it means obeying God. I always see God’s heart for people, and love everyone regardless of what they can offer me. I do nothing from rivalry or conceit. I am not a victim, I am a victor. Because the Son has set me free, I am free indeed. I do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. I reign in life through Jesus Christ! Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. I am dead to sin and alive unto God to live an obedient and supernatural life.  In Jesus I have no condemnation. I am confident of this very thing, that He who had began a good work in me will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. I am continually being changed into looking more and more like Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. I rejoice in the Lord at all times. I am strong and courageous. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I am not afraid or dismayed because God is with me. I rest in God’s goodness and faithfulness, especially at times when I lack understanding. I DECLARE I have the grace I need for today. I am full of power, strength and determination. Nothing I face will be too strong for me. I will overcome every obstacle, outlast every challenge, and come through every difficulty better off than I was before. My heart trusts in God fully. I expect to heal the sick, raise the dead, prophesy life, lead people to Christ, bring deliverance, release signs and wonders, and bless people everywhere that I go. I am continually being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. I am empowered to change the world. Jesus is the author and finisher of my faith. My faith is growing day by day. Because I have faith, I say to mountains, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. I am who God says that I am. I treat others based on their identity in Jesus, not how they act or treat me. I am the righteousness of Christ. I am pure in God’s eyes because of the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. In Jesus, I am more than a conqueror, and have overcome the devil, the flesh, and the world. God is for me today, and if God is for me, who can be against me? I trust in the Lord and will not be put to shame. If God wants me to have favor with someone, I will. I do not perform for love and acceptance. I live a life of rest, knowing that I am fully accepted by God. In Jesus, I am a new creation and the old has passed away. I DECLARE a legacy of faith over my life. I declare that I will store up blessings for future generations. Because I’m making right choices and taking steps of faith, others will want to follow me. God’s word does not depart from my mouth, and I meditate on it day and night so that I will make my way prosper and have good success. The Word is living and active in me. My prayers are powerful and effective. My faith is being strengthened to possess all that Jesus has won for me. The love of Christ compels me to share the gospel with people I encounter. I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. In everything I do, I pursue love. I am moved with compassion towards people. I carry the gift of reconciliation. Because Jesus forgave me, I choose to forgive others and walk in peace. I set the course of my life with my words. The words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart are acceptable in God’s sight. I am slow to speak and quick to listen. I glorify God with what I do with my body. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. By the stripes of Jesus on the cross, I have been healed. My faith is not dependent upon what I see, feel, or experience, but it is dependent on God’s Word. I prosper and am in health, even as my soul prospers. I wait on the Lord and He renews my strength. I honor the Lord with my wealth. The Lord is my shepherd and I will not live in lack. I am a joyful giver and do not give out of obligation. I live under supernatural protection. God watches over my life and keeps me from all harm. I DECLARE I will experience God’s faithfulness. I will keep my trust in Him, knowing that He will not fail me. I will give birth to every promise God put in my heart and I will become everything God has created me to be.  I DECLARE it is not too late to accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. I have not missed my window of opportunity. I DECLARE I will not just survive; I will thrive! I will prosper despite every difficulty that comes my way. I know every setback is a setup for a comeback. I will not get stagnant, give up on my dreams, or settle where I am. I know one touch of God’s favor can change everything. I DECLARE Ephesians 3:20 over my life. God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all that I ask or think. My best days are ahead of me, because the God I serve is living and active. Jesus loves me and that is enough. He is my reward, He is my life, He is my Savior.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
— Romans 10:17 KJV
